Let’s Find it
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 16:25 KJV
There are often many sacrifices we have to make in our lives. When parents have a new born baby there are decisions that need to be taken into considerations. Truly, sacrificing what we want for what is right is a principle we all face throughout our lives. If you want to pass an important exam for your long dreamed career or get a promotion at your job or start a new business, you have to make sacrifices of your time. You have to make a choice while others may go party or get dinner you have to pick the high road.
You know that phrase “get a life”. Well, in a constant battle of finding your life, Jesus tells us that once we lose ourselves in Him we will find our real life. Make a decision to reject your old life and your own will. Instead choose to trust that as you seek Him you will find all that you need. Regardless of what anybody says choose Jesus, because it is a guarantee that you’ll find all you need along with your life! So let’s get our life!
~ Father God, thank You for giving me a new life! Help me take out the old and bring in the new. I want to lose my life and find it in You, so that my family, friends and community are transformed through the power of Your love. In Jesus’ Name Amen!
