Keep Sowing
“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV
There comes a point in our lives where we ask ourselves “is this even worth it?” Perhaps you have given up on some of your dreams because you have not seen any results. In this scripture today we are reminded that God has called us to sow seeds in our lives and in other peoples lives. The mustard seed is the smallest of seeds yet it brings forth one of the biggest trees one can behold! When seeds are sown they are under the dirt in darkness and your seed is not yet visible.
However, out of the darkness came forth light and that discouragement or disappointment in your life is a seed that’s going to spring forth! When you sow the seed whether that is a tear or a pain God will turn it into joy. Maybe your dreams have failed, your marriage isn’t all there, perhaps you have sown seeds with tears that you thought have not worked. Don’t lose hope! keep sowing those seeds and get ready to reap a huge harvest!
~ Father God, thank You for blessing me with new beginnings! Although I may not see it I believe I have received every good and perfect gift You have for me. I dedicate my life to you as a seed and now that I am sowing with you I will reap new fruits! In Jesus’ name amen.
