He already knows!
“These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.” Matthew 6:32 NLT
Regardless of how modern our communities become as humans we have needs and desires that need to be met. In this scripture Jesus was reminding His disciples that He is aware that people are constantly thinking about what to eat, what to wear, or what to do. He reminds them that if God cares so much for the lilies of the field that are here today and gone tomorrow won’t He provide much more for them and for you? Of course He will!
As you sow a seed in faith towards your goals God has prepared for those goals and is ready to pour out those blessings! It’s like when your parent asks you to wash the dishes and you said you’ll get to it and they get so impatient and do it anyway that when you go do the dishes you say “I was going to do them.” Well this is what we do to God with our lives. We tell Him about the dishes and we get impatient and try to do it our way when in reality He was going to take care of it before you even said it! Believe that He will have your back no matter what and best believe He will do the dishes in our lives way better than we can! So Get ready to see the blessings pour into your life as you walk in this faith!
~ Father God, Thank you for providing for all my needs and for giving me goals and desires to reach. Guide me to do it in Your love and to put You first so that they may flourish and be successful. For Your Honor and Your Glory, in Jesus’ name amen! P.S. thanks for washing my dishes Jesus.
