Dependable
“The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!” 1 Thessalonians 5:24 MSG
Often times our minds tell us we can’t do something because it seems out of reach. The even more intimidating aspect of society is that everyone is looking to fulfill requirements and responsibilities while comparing themselves to others. Don’t compare yourself to others for God has called you His own and God cannot be compared to anything or anyone. In this scripture the apostle Paul reminds the church in Thessalonians that what God has started He will complete it.
Whatever dreams, goals, and desires God has placed in your heart are meant to be accomplished through Him. He will provide you with the strength to attain them as you seek Him. You may not have the skills or the experience to get to where you want to go but God does! And the Bible reminds us He abides in us, He has equipped you with everything you need to face any challenge that comes your way. For the spirit of the Lord upholds you and keeps you. Instead of walking by what you see or your feelings remember this scripture that God will finish what He started even if you are unsure of the process!
~ Father God, thank you for equipping me with everything I need to succeed! Let my heart rejoice in Your faithfulness and that my actions shed light on Your abundant love. Guide me in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name amen!
