Fruitful
“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 NLT
The process of which plants provide nutrients and bear fruit is very simple to understand, it is compared to a well oil working machine. All the parts of the machine work within its own purpose and each part is dependent on the other parts of the machinery. This is the same with us in Christ.
Your success in this new year and throughout your life is dependent on your faith in Jesus Christ. Quit trying to do things on your own and focus on walking, abiding and pleasing God which is simply a walk of faith! The Lord has already prepared your life to bear fruit, He has prepared your blessings and the promises that are to come. Our part in all of this is to abide in Him, in His Word through faith.
~ Heavenly Father, Thank You for this new year of life in You. Help me abide in You so that Your name be glorified and exalted, I believe you have prepared the land of blessings for me and all I have to do is walk into it! In Jesus name Amen.
