Crowned
“And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.” Esther 2:17 KJV
The book of Esther records events that occurred when the Jews were captives. During this time the King of Persia decided to have a feast and demonstrate the beauty of His queen—Vashti. Unfortunately, His queen was too busy with life and throwing her own feast. This represents our King Jesus Christ and the church, His queen. When Vashti took for granted her position the King sought another queen—Esther. Through submission Esther obtained favor from the king.
Whosoever is willing, states the Bible. When you are willing to submit to the Lord’s plans grace and exaltation follows! The Lord looks and searches a heart in which He may be made strong in. You are God’s chosen people and you were born for such a time as this time! Though the world may be preoccupied with its own cares you have been appointed and crowned for the work of the Lord. Wherever you go the favor of God follows you because failure is not an option. You have been crowned!
~ Father God, thank You for your abundant grace. Let all of my actions be pleasing to you and the crown you have given me be a symbol of the covenant you’ve made with me, strengthen me for the work that lies ahead for your glory. In Jesus name amen.
