Standing Ovation
“Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.” 1 Samuel 12:16 KJV
We often think we have to do everything ourselves. It is what we are taught to do from an early age. We are trained to be independent and self-sufficient. Often times this sort of pressure makes others feel lonely or incapable of fulfilling this standard of being independent. The truth is God did not create us to be independent, physically there are things we cannot simply do alone.
The limitations placed on our physical strength are there to make room for the unlimited strength God provides. It may be the case that you have tried to accomplish something and have not had the results you planned. This scripture today reminds us to stand and behold the power of God and what it can do in your life. When all has failed and you have ran out of options it is now His turn to show you what He can do for you. God wants to bless you and pour His favor over your life. Where you thought it was a dead end He already knew of the detour route to the breakthrough. Lean not on your own understanding today and stand still. See the Lord going before you in triumphant victory!
~ Lord God, thank You for everything You do for me. When I don’t know where to go I know I can go to You. Help me to lean on You and not in my own strengths for where I am weak You are made strong for Your honor and glory. Thank You for the blessings to come, I stand in awe of You today!
