Whosoever Will
“Don’t stop him. No one can use my name to do something good and powerful, and in the next breath slam me. If he’s not an enemy, he’s an ally.” Mark 9:39-41 MSG
When Jesus’ ministry began to expand and more people heard of His teaching others who had heard of Him took the liberty to put into action what they had learned. Some had so much faith in His great name that they were able to heal others simply mentioning the name of Jesus. In this scripture the disciples had overheard a man who was not one of the original 12 chosen using the name of Jesus to heal a demon possessed man. The disciples forbade him not to but Jesus told them not to stop them.
His word explicitly reminds us that it is whosoever is willing to believe. Those who believe in Jesus will become new creatures and possess the ability to heal and transform their lives and the lives of others. It wasn’t just a few people that could do this, we are all called to be the light leading many out of darkness. You can apply this to your very own life today, declare the name of Jesus over your life, stamp all of your cares all of your worries with His name and have faith He has completed it the moment you said yes to Him.
~ Heavenly Father, thank You for accepting me just as I am. Today I believe and now I receive the blessings you have prepared for me there is nothing that can prevail against the plans You have for me. In Jesus name amen.
