Be the Leader you were called to be

“I have not sat with vain persons, Neither will I go in with dissemblers.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭26‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Throughout the Bible we see the Lord reminding us to stay away from the things that do not reflect Him. We are instructed to stay away from any friendship, job, or family member that goes contrary to the immense truth and love of God. In this verse today David is confessing his love to the Lord and demonstrating his loyalty towards God by refusing to hang out with people that are not sowing into the kingdom of God.

Of course Jesus sat with all types of people and we are called to be a light unto the world just like Jesus. However, we are not to get so involved that we become like the world. Instead, others should be so stunned at the presence of God in your life that it causes them to change and become like Christ in you! Be the light God has called you to be by representing Jesus in love. Sternly refuse to follow the crowd instead be the leader you were called to be. The minute we walk in this truth the favor of God will come upon you and you will reap blessings in every part of your life!

~ Heavenly Father, thank you for blessing me with another day! Please surround me with the people who want to do Your will and guide me in Your everlasting righteous path for in You I have found my life. In Jesus name amen!
